Welcome to our web site.

St Mary's Parish church was founded in 1115 by Abbot Ralph as the place of Christian worship for the townsfolk of Battle. Today we still exist for the worship of God through Jesus Christ, our Saviour, Lord and King.

We hope that you enjoy browsing the historical notes and guided tour on the pages following. But most important of all is the living church of today, of which you could be a member.
